My name is Tracy Wolf, and I'm a bisexual polyamorous switch. I'm currently the Volunteer Coordinator for the Exiles, and an alternate representative to the San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance.  I am running for Ms. San Francisco Leather, a title which has been gone for 10 years that is being revived this year.

My Story

I've been kinky all my life, but I didn't realize that I was not the only person with kinky thoughts and predelections until late 1999, and then a whole new world opened up for me.  My watershed moment was when I found Jay Wiseman's book, SM 101, and not only were there instructions about what to do, but long lists of clubs full of people with whom to do these things.

I was living in Virginia at the time, and stumbled upon Black Rose, a very active educational group that throws a killer party every year, and the Crucible, which was the most active dungeon space in the DC area at the time.  These two places were where I started to meet people in the leather community, and began to understand the standards and mores of the subculture.  Not to mention playing.  I took to bottoming like a duck to water.

After a short while, I relocated to the Los Angeles area.  On my third day in L.A., I attended an orientation to join the Threshold Society.  Also, I hunted for every munch, kinky club and seminar I could find, plus put miles on my car by attending seminars, socials and parties from Orange County to San Bernardino to Panorama City.  In L.A., there was something going on nearly every day of the week.  I'd found leather and I was making up for lost time!

During this time I found myself morphing from a confirmed submissive female bottom to a switch with a very broad range of interests that I'd never expected.  I learned pretty early on to stop speaking in absolutes regarding my own sexuality.  What I'd always thought was pretty firm was proving to be much more fluid than I'd ever thought possible.

Life changed, and I moved to San Francisco... twice.  The first time, I joined Society of Janus, which is a great group of folks, but for me things just didn't quite click there.  The second time I was drawn  into the city's gravitational pull, my leather sister suggested that I check out the Exiles.  And I've found a lovely home there!  What an awesome, strong, beautiful, smart group of women!
